TV-4204 Display low temperature logger and probe

TV-4204 | External PT-1000 Probe Low Temperature -200°C to 100°C (-328°F to 212°F)

The TV-4204 uses a PT1000 probe for very low temperature monitoring. PT1000 probes monitor from -80/-200 to +100°C, -200°C to 100°C (-328°F to 212°F) making this unit a versatile solution typically for freezers and cryogenic applications. Like the rest of the View 2 range, this accurate and reliable unit has a display providing a visual readout.
Requires:Tinytag Explorer software,  USB cable and a Probe.

Tinytag Explorer is the Windows program used to configure Tinytag loggers and view recorded data. During set up, logger names, logging intervals and alarm settings can easily be chosen. Recorded data can be shown as a graph, table of readings or summary information.
Interface cables are used for connecting the logger to a PC for programming and recovering stored data.
Listed Below are several options for purchasing the required software and interface cable for the TGU-4020 Logger. The most economical package is the (SWPK7-USB) it includes both the Explorer Software (SWCD-0040) and the Interface Cable (CAB-0007-USB).

Understanding Calibration

During calibration data loggers are compared to a reference meter that has been calibrated in a UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) approved laboratory. Data Loggers for use with a probe are calibrated with the accompanying probe. The certificate lists the value recorded by the reference meter (the temperature or humidity at which the data logger was tested), the value recorded by the data logger and the error between the two readings (the certificate will also show readings before and after any adjustment made to the unit where appropriate). In addition to the reading information, calibration certificates also list the test method and the details of the equipment used to provide traceability back to national standards.

Calibration certificates do not have a period of validity; they are simply a statement of what the unit was reading when it was tested. That said, unless the application is particularly critical or demanding, most people get their loggers calibrated annually.

Even if you don't purchase calibration certificates, we guarantee that our loggers will meet the accuracy figures specified on our datasheets at the point of purchase.

Calibration Points

Our standard calibration points, which are used unless otherwise specified, are:
• Temperature: 0 and 30°C
• Humidity: 20 and 80 % RH (at 25°C)

These points have been chosen to give good coverage for general purpose use, but should other points be required we can calibrate units within the following ranges:
• Temperature: -20 to +150 °C
• Humidity: 20 to 90 % RH (at 25°C)

Suitable for very low temperature applications such as freezer and cryogenic monitoring, PT1000 probes monitor from -80 or -200 to 100°C and are waterproof to IP68.
This logger requires an external probe. Listed below are all the available probes for the TV-4204 Logger. Select No Thanks if you already have a probe.
The PB-7002 is a stainless steel probe designed for low temperature (cryogenic) applications where the tip of the probe can be exposed down to -200°C (not the handle and cable). It comes with a moulded plastic handle and connector ensure it is robust and waterproof.
The PB-7003 stainless steel freezer probe is designed for use in applications where both the probe and the cable can be exposed down to -80°C. This probe comes with a moulded plastic handle and connector ensure it is robust and splash-proof.
